New Moon Baths: Rebirth, Intention and Personal Power
A New Moon is the moment when the sky darkens and the Moon aligns between the Earth and the Sun. It may seem like just another lunar phase, but energetically, it represents a powerful gateway to new beginnings. It is the zero point of the lunar cycle — when everything begins anew. Why take a bath on the New Moon? You can adapt the ritual according to your beliefs and intuitions. Here is a simple and effective suggestion: Ingredients basics : 2 liters of warm water 1 handful of coarse salt (purification) 7 bay or rosemary leaves (renewal and protection) 1 teaspoon dried lavender or essential oil drops (calm and grounding) Optional: crystals such as amethyst or white quartz near the bath (not in the water) Step by step : Boil the water and add the ingredients. Let the mixture rest for a few minutes while you visualize what you want to release and attract. Take your hygienic bath as normal. Then pour the herbal bath from the neck down, silently or while saying a prayer. Visualize yourself being purified and reborn with lightness and purpose. Avoid rinsing. Let your body dry naturally if possible. Extra tip: write down your intention Before bathing, write down on a piece of paper what you want to manifest in this new cycle. It can be something emotional, spiritual or material. After bathing, keep this paper in a special place or bury it in the ground as a symbolic way of planting your seed. Connect with your lunar essence You don’t have to be a mystic, a witch, or an astrologer to benefit from the lunar cycles. Nature already lives within you. And when you honor these rhythms, your body, mind, and spirit flourish as well. On the next New Moon, allow yourself this moment. A simple but intentional bath can be the first step towards a big change. With love,The Moonlight🌕 Follow your rhythm. Live your Moon.
